As the temperatures drop, there’s nothing better than a delicious bowl of homemade corn chowder! 🌽 Made with farm-fresh sweet corn, this dish delivers a comforting flavor to your cozy winter nights.❄️

Try this quick and easy recipe featuring crispy bacon for an extra savory touch:

Creamy Corn Chowder with Bacon 🌽🥓

Ingredients:
✔️ 4 cups fresh RC Hatton Farms sweet corn
✔️ 4 slices bacon, diced
✔️ 1 onion, finely chopped
✔️ 2 garlic cloves, minced
✔️3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
✔️ 2 cups heavy cream or milk
✔️ 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
✔️ Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste
✔️ Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until soft.
3️⃣ Add potatoes, broth, and paprika. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
4️⃣ Stir in fresh corn and heavy cream. Cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
5️⃣ Blend slightly for a creamy texture (optional).
6️⃣ Season with salt and pepper, garnish with crispy bacon and parsley, and serve hot!

Today, on what would have been his 80th birthday, we remember and celebrate the incredible life of Mr. Roger C. Hatton. His dedication to farming went beyond the fields; he deeply valued the people, families, and communities who were at the heart of it all.

His passion for innovation and commitment to creating opportunities for others were evident in everything he did. Whether in the fields, at family appreciation days, or through his visionary leadership, Mr. Hatton’s influence extended far beyond farming, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He believed in the power of hard work, kindness, and togetherness, beliefs that continue to inspire us daily. Though deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the relationships he built, and the community he cared for so dearly. 💛

🍂 Fall is here, and there’s nothing better than a warm bowl of corn chowder made with farm-fresh sweet corn! 🌽

Check out this hearty and delicious corn chowder recipe:

Ingredients:

• 4 cups fresh corn (cut off the cob)
• 1 cup diced potatoes
• 1 cup chopped onions
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup diced bacon
• 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings.

2. Sauté onions and garlic in the bacon drippings until soft.

3. Add potatoes, corn, and broth. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

4. Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes.

5. Serve topped with crispy bacon and fresh chives. Enjoy with a slice of warm bread!
